Does anyone know of a (cheap or free) utility that runs on NT
to convert .WAV files to .AU files. I'm trying to add sounds
to a Java applet, but all of my sounds are in .WAV format, and
(the current release of) HotJava on NT only understands .AU
format audio.
'sox' is reputed to run under DOS, and I doubt that anything it does
would put a strain on a decent DOS emulation environment (presumably,
NT gets that right).
