In reference to my earlier post on our simple, yet functional port of the
NetworkClient class from the alpha java release to the JDK, you can find
the source posted on my home page at:
http://shrine.cyber.ad.jp/~nbarthel
I cannot accept the credit for it though, it was done by Cyber
Technologies Harry Behrens...
As I said before I am interested in porting the rest of the net subtree
classes, but do not want to duplicate work. Has anyone done this yet?
We built an IRC-type application, but I think it could be cleaner with a
true port of the old net APIs.
