I presume you are referring to the Windows '95 (or Windows NT)
version of the JDK (since it is in the Solaris distribution).
I noticed that the GridBagLayout.class and the GridBagConstraints.class
are not in the $JAVAHOME\classes\java\awt directory in the JDK distribution
- but the GridBagLayout.java and GridBagConstraints.java are in the
$JAVAHOME\src\java\awt directory - so I just compiled them
(GridBagConstraints.java first and GridBagLayout.java next) using javac,
moved them to $JAVAHOME\classes\java\awt directory and everything works
fine now.
