Hello,

This is somewhat of a general question regarding the overhead of making
native method calls from java as well as calling java methods from native
methods via the execute_java_X_method() interface. Has anyone looked at
whether there is much overhead involved in such calls? I would be
interested in any results empirical or collected as I am writing a native
lib that makes heavy use of callbacks to java methods.

I would take a look at how this interface was actually implemented, but I
have not yet gotten my copy of the full source release.

Thanks.
