audio question

Does the beta release still only support the .au audio file format (8,000
Hz, 8-bit, mono, ulaw encoded audio file)? Out of curiosity, I tried to
play back a .wav file on win95 and had the sun.audio.NativeAudioStream
class throw an InvalidAudioFormatException (not that I expected it to work,
but I wanted to see what would happen). Are there any other audio formats
that have been added or are on the drawing board for future versions?
