I am creating a set of generic network client classes and would like to
if possible know if there is a way to create a set of paired streams (a
pipe) to pass data through.
I have attempted a couple of different things but have found that the
streams in the JDK (Win32) suffer from the 'chicken and the egg'
syndrome. The InputStream and OutputStream are setup circularly so you
need one before the other and vice-versa!
This confuses me...Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, I tried a crazy method of setting up a socket on localhost to a
rarely used port, to no avail...
