A customer is considering using Java. THey would like to build applets/applications that can interface to OLE within a Windows client environment. This would then be used to pass data into WPs and Spreadsheets running on the big fat PC.
This could be considered heretical as such an interface would make the applet OS dependant but someone must have thought of this problem and developed a class that abstracts this interface and could pass data into MAC, Solaris, NT and 95 environments.
Any ideas ?
