Can I do UDP/IP with java.net.SocketImpl?

I've started investigating a project that will require using UDP or raw
IP transport protocol to ship data around. From reading the API
documentation it looks like java.net.SocketImpl only does TCP. What's
the scoop?

I'd look at the source code and figure it out myself but downloading -
printing - signing - faxing the license agreement is sort of yucky and
anti-network. I'd do it if they accepted my PGP sig.
