sun.* and netscape.* package documentation

A question about class and package documentation:

In the alpha3 documentation, there are net.www.* classes which are
listed as "HotJava Packages".

Clearly some of these have made it into the "standard" applet API as of
pre-beta1 and beta1.

However, some of them have not. It looks like some of them are now
sun.* packages. I have been unable to find documentation for the sun.*
packages/classes in pre-beta1 and now beta1. Nor have I found but a
brief mention of the netscape.* packages (found in a statement of the
beta1 "whats new" document about new appletviewer features related to
these packages).

Probably there is something obvious that I'm just overlooking, but I'm
wondering if someone out there knows where the documentation for these
packages/classes can be found:

	sun.*
	netscape.*

A wider question to which I haven't found a good answer is:

Just what *is* the environment that applets have available
inside the browser? Is it beyond the java.* packages
	available in beta1?

Thanks much,

Kim Kinnear
