beta applets with NT

I have noticed another thing with the new JDK for NT, and that is,
after I have quit a demo applet (using the appletviewer) that uses
sound in some way, unusual things happen with sound apps. It seems
that the appletviewer does not release the WAV device on NT, and after
a sound applet worked once, it will not play sounds again, the media
player will not play sounds e.t.c. I get a message that a device
is already using a wav device, that is, it is still busy... The appletviewer
terminated long ago.....
Any advice on this will be appreciated..
