A note to the Java development folk (though anyone else can agree or
disagree with me if they choose):
Printable manuals are great, perhapse even necessary, to use Java
seriously as a development language. While I appreciate the teams
attempt to make postscript files available, I was somewhat disapointed to
find that the form is a million little postscript files, each of which is
one page from the HTML docs. I assuem these were created autiomagicly
from the HTML pages.
Personally, I think this is worse then useless, as it allows you to say
"yeah,we have Postscript docs" without really adressing the issue of a
useable manual.
Isn't there 1 tech. writer in all of SUN who can be spared for a week to
collate and organize this stuff into a useful form???
Thanks
Jeff Kesselman
