In the beta JDK, is there any way to get ahold of a list of available
fonts on the current system?
I'm seeing a lot of hints that there is, or will be, a way to do this
(system properties that refer to fonts, or using the default toolkit
to print out a list of fonts), but nothing that seems to actually work.
If it can be done, how about a couple lines of code?
And, while you're at it, I'd love a short discussion of system properties
in general and how they're going to be used; I know which ones are guaranteed
to be there from the source, but what sorts of properties can one test for?
In other words, what are the potential properties that we can expect?
