I am trying to build some pages for Netscape 2.0 that include some
Java appletts for demo purposes. I would _like_ to be compiling and
generally hacking around in Pre beta code but have no acess to a
sparcstation. Now I know that I can link to an applett on sun's
server and run that way but it makes testing a real drag since the
appletts don't cache. I assume this (no caching) is a security issue
of some sort although I imagine some sort of proxy server could make
an end run around it.
Anyway, I would rather have permision to use
these appletts anyway. Is there a site I could ftp Alpha appletts
from,or some other way to get them to use locally?

<whining about lack of beta dev kit for NT goes here>

Thanks,
Hugh.
