Hi, Shoji,
Welcome to the world of Java.

Contact at http://www.javasoft.com.
You can find JDK (Java Developers Kit) prebeta 1.
It contains compiler, applet viewer, interpreter, debuger, APIs and
so on.
And it contains every documents about Java including Class Library
References.
I saw some Japanese document at that site.

Now, it's available 1.0alpha3 and 1.0prebeta1(with JDK).
alpha3 and prebeta1 are not compatible each other.
So we must develop applet on prebeta1, JDK.
It works on only Sun SPARC Solaris. Windows95/NT only work with alpha3.
And there is no HotJava which supports prebeta1 applet.
Only Netscape Navigator 2.0B1J support prebeta1 applet. (limps)

If you can work on SPARC Solaris Japanese version, you can, maybe.
And if you work on Japanese Windows95/NT with Netscape 2.0B1J, you
can run applets with
Kanji, may be.
