(Beta questions)
Let me direct this one to the Java team (or anybody who knows the
answer). I would really like to know what the status of POST - URL
support is.
I have hacked up my own POST-URL request method. However, it requires
me to explicetely open up a stream socket and I get a Security Exception
if I execute the applet (using the appletviewer) from a directory other
than the one where the *.class files reside in.
Also, if anybody could enlighten me on
what is possible/allowed in terms of opening stream
socket connections and what is not allowed (for appletviewer, Netscape).
I will reward the person answering me with 100 Lira or 10 Pfennig.
Thank's a lot!
