Geomview is a very fine, free 3D viewer and animation package. It is
freely available from the Geometry Center at ftp.geom.umn.edu or

http:/www.geom.umn.edu/software/download/geomview.

It runs under X11 or NeXTstep, and there are precompiled binaries for
a number of architectures. If you have access to a unix/X11 platform,
it is far superior to Corel 5.0 as a visualization and animation tool,
especially for scientific uses.

The Geometry Center is currently in the process of developing java
applets that will allow 3D viewing of Geomview data files. Should be
cool.
