I was wondering if someone could answer this for me.

When you load a network resource, be it an image, sound, or whatever, via a
URL and are running inside of Netscape2 (or any browser for that matter)
does Netscape handle the network aspect of fetching the data? Specifically
my question is regarding firewalls and proxy servers. Can I confidently
build my Java App without regard for the limitations of my users behind
firewalls?

Thanks,
C=)
