The HotJava Browser was FINE. Why is the Java programmer stuff such a M-E-S-S.
Having a hard time figuring out that there are corporations pushing
this product. Yes it has great potential.... BUT, the setting up is
not the AUTO-SETUP the computer community has come to expect. This will turn
more people off than they will enroll in their intention. Not only that,
but when I log into the e-mail that receives these questions, it is 75%
java, 10% Real-Audio (which was a breeze to setup), 5% httpd -NCSA (a breeze
to setup), 5% HyperNews (which was a breeze to setup and 5% misc. (which is
a breeze blah blah).....
Also, Netscape's 2.0b is worthless. No applets show up at all.
Netscape... here is a tip.. giving 3 choices for placing something into
anywhere is NOT AUTO-SETUP!!!!! Pick one (1) !!!! Then those that feel the
need to change it will. Like... hey... we put it in here /usr/~me/blah
but..... you can change it to one of the following blah/blah or blah/blah/b
if you would like. Your stock is doing well, get some normal, everyday people
in there. Too many Techies spoil the chips. Here is you second tip to the road
to public success.. Give out your product .. and if they say a word like,
huh, where, what, how, etc. (sort of what these letters are filled with)
you are trying to sell gold to a poor man. Being unattached to the People.....
Not only that, but we have even placed several wuestions on these boards to
receive no responses that has our (your) S-T-U-F-F (until it works, it's stuff)
working. Programs are something that operate in a way that benefit.
If they ask a question....... any question... your job is not complete.
Maybe someday we will get to see an applet on our own system.
Yea.. yea.. the classpath is set..... and everything that was told to us
was set. .............................. and.....

How many people send questions to this place.... and ..why?
