Can some please clarify a few points for me?
I am _Still_ having numerous problems with getting the JDK to work on my systems.
Every time I try and run it on one of our software it core dumps. I am in
most cases redirecting the display.
I am correctly setting the display with setenv, and I have included the java/bin in
my path and set JAVA_HOME correctly. Is there anything else that needs to be set?
It normally works when I am sat at the console, although some of the demos cause
core dumps. It doesn't work atall when I try and use it remotely.
I think that I heard someone mention that there was a problem with NIS+ and the
JDK - is this true, as we are running NIS+ on these machines. If so is there a
work around? I _Really_ need to get the JDK up and running in order to keep the
boss of my back and get my work done! Please!
Urgent replies please ....
Thankyou in advance.
