Hi,

I followed the source code of Socket.java and ServerSocket.java and
find that methods like socketCreate(), socket*() ... are declared
native. I tried to find the implementation in C in the jdk hierarchy.
Are source code for these native methods available OR it is
just compiled into the *.so libraries that goes with the jdk
and the user can assume it to be coded and not to worry about it?

any pointers appreciated ...

thanks,
