Questions about AWT input

Some questions about AWT input (hopefully I've got the right mailing
list for these, it wasn't clear which to use).

1) What is "sticky tracking"?

2) What (if anything) is the difference between "pointer" and "mouse"
   events (e.g., between Event.POINTER_MOTION and Event.MOUSE_MOTION)?

3) There seems to be a notion of "focus" in AWT. Could someone give a
brief explanation of what the semantics of this in AWT are? In general,
could someone in the know describe the event delivery process in AWT
(e.g., what objects are events delivered to under what circumstances)?

Thanks
