Except on systems where you couldn't get the name of your program. In which
case, it was suitably dummied.
I don't care about actually USING that feature, Although I think if it was
set to the primary classname that has the main(), it would be nice.
I just am a bit miffed that, when porting C/C++ code over to java, it is yet
another thing for me to remember, or more likely, forget, and then have to
debug.

Oh, sure, you never made that explicit claim. But that's like sun marketing
calling SunOS, "solaris 1". Gak.
Just as most normal people view "solaris", as meaning "solaris 2.x",
most normal people will view java as a derivative of C++.
So it is odd that you threw this simple bit of compatibility out.
