This is to advise readers of the Java/HotJava mailing lists that we
have turned off moderation on the lists. We were mainly using moderation
to avoid problems with stupid mailers (and not to edit submitted content),
but we hope we have controlled those problems by other means. We will
still divert bogus mail (misdirected subscription requests) away from
the mailing lists. If lack of moderation causes unforeseen problems or
significanly lowers list quality, we will revisit this decision.
Hopefully this means that your former moderator can actually get some
coding done...
