Hi all,
From my earlier posting to Java-interest, there seems to be enough interest
in Java, Kerberos and DCE to warrant a list, so I've created one:
java-kerberos@lists.stanford.edu
It is an open unmoderated list so feel free to add yourself.
There hasn't been much traffic so far but I plan on posting all my code,
examples, and docs as we move along in implementing Kerberos and DCE in
Java.
See ya,
Sid Conklin

p.s., If anyone at Sun thinks this list is better served at Sun I would be
more than happy to transfer it.
Notes on un/subscribing:
The following details how to use majordomo as a user.
There are two types of mailing lists served by the majordomo, "open" and
"closed". Subscribing to "open" lists for yourself does not need the owners'
approval. Subscribing to "closed" lists, however, needs the owners' approval
before the request you send will actually be added to the list. For example,
to subscribe to an open mailing list "test-open", put the textline
subscribe test-open
in a mail message and send it to the majordomo server, majordomo@lists and
you
are done subscribing yourself to it. MajorDomo will return your mail
starting
with the message "Welcome to the test-open mailing list!" Another option is
to subscribe a specific address, which can be different than the one you are
mailing from to a mailing list. To subscribe john@leland to "test-open", put
the textline
subscribe "test-open" john@leland
in the mail body. In this case the request will have to approved by the
mailing list owner before john@leland is added to the list and you receive
the
welcome message from the majordomo server.
The process for a closed list is the same as far as a user is concerned. To
subscribe to a closed list, for example, "test-closed", put the textline
subscribe "test-closed"
in the mail body if you are subscribing yourself, or attach the address if
you
are subscribing for another address. Majordomo will return your mail with a
message like "Your request to majordomo@netserver has been forwarded to the
owner of the "test-closed" list for approval..." If the approval is granted
you will receive another message "Welcome to the test-closed mailing list!"
To unsubscribe to "test-open" or to "test-closed," put the textline
unsubscribe test-open
or
unsubscribe test-closed
in the mail body. Putting your address is again optional.
