Hi,
I have not actually used Java yet and have only read about it. Can
someone help me with the following subject?
On Implementing Native Methods an example is given of file read and
write routines being done in C. One of the details is that the C
code sets the separator to / appropriately. My questions are :
1) Isn't this C code going to be interpreted/executed on the client?
2) If the answer to #1 is yes, then how can I write a single program
that "knows" things like which separator to use?
Thanks,
Kevin
