Depends on your perspective. If that computer in Maine had the key to a
lockbox with $1M in it, I suspect you'd find it particularly useful.
I was in Colorado on one occasion and needed something (can't remember what)
very badly which was only available on my computer in Montana. The info was
only available through an X program. I was delighted to be able to get it,
despite the slowness. Besides, at some point the communications link will
improve, the protocol will improve, and the connection will be more tolerable.
