There are several "continuous HTTP connection" techniques around
(my Web Relay Chat <URL:http://metro.turnpike.net/metro/T/thrift/wrc.html>
for example), but this is the server sending a stream back to the client
rather than a symmetrical relation. I haven't seen this discussed, but
perhaps there should be a STREAM method, in addition to GET, POST HTTP
methods (<URL:http://www.w3.org/hypertext/WWW/Protocols/HTTP/Methods.html>).
