The e-mail containing your ballot had "134.221.96.20@hermes.bouw.tno.nl"
as your e-mail address in the From: line, Return-Path: line, and the
envelope address; there was no Reply-To: header or signature block.
Your ballot was originally accepted--the voting software didn't
recognize the address as bad--but the acknowledgement bounced back from
your site's mail server. When I got the bounce-o-gram, I saw the bad
address, checked the original ballot, and invalidated the vote record.

The UVV has nothing against people voting from behind firewalls. Your
beef is with the person(s) maintaining your mail system; the simple fact
is that your ballot had a bogus address in it. The message I received
just now, with your complaint, has a different, probably valid address;
had this address been on your ballot, your vote would have been
accepted.

All votes get an ack through e-mail; this was mentioned in the CFV. You
never contacted me asking why you didn't get one. The 2nd call for
votes also contained a list of bad votes received so far, including
yours; as far as I can tell, you never submitted a new ballot.
