I am busy trying to consume all the documentation on Java I can while I await
the arrival of my NT box. In the mean time I have a couple of questions I
haven't found the answers to yet :

  1) I understand Java is interpreted on the client. Does this mean that
functions like : java.lang.system.exec will execute on the client?
Therefore, I could get a directory listing on the client?

  2) If I link in a C library can that also execute on the client? How
     exactly is this accomplished?

  3) Should it be possible for me to easily "push" files from my client
     to the server using Java?

Thanks,

Kevin
