Dear Chuck McManis,

Thank you for your confident and open reply at last, to this Security
affair. That's the kind of talk everyone likes to hear, and respects. I
wish Sun had come out like that about it, in the first place.

I am certainly impressed with Java's possibilities. I attended a Sun
seminar on Multimedia, Security and HotJava last week in London, and had a
good look at the HotJava pages that I've been collecting as bookmarks. I'm
hooked. The way you spoke in your reply to "egads!" bodes well.

My x86 Solaris system will be up and running by October, and I will
check out the security as part of my familiarization of the cockpit. Now I
feel that I won't be able to do what that Microsoft engineer had to.

    Congratulations.

Sandy
