Hello to everyone with sample code, examples, or Java documents!

Following the great suggestions of several posters to collect and moderate
some sort of collection of simple and instructive Java examples, I thought
I would volunteer my site.

I've got about 800 MB free and a 500 K link to the Net, so it should make
a reasonably accessible site for storing things.

I'll write some examples myself, but would like to collect a list of any
of you who would also like to contribute.

Since we're just getting started, and prebeta1 has just been released with
an incompatible API, we need to decide which API to support.... I would
suggest that any new examples and instructional text be written to the
new API, and if anybody has some older code for Alpha3 they can send it
in, but they should also try to update it for the JDK release if possible.

Also, writers who would like to create simple intros. for webmasters or
other not-former-C/C++-programmers can also let me know what they'd like
to put up on the site.

Whenever I get a large enough collection of responses from people, I'll
set up the site and let the list know that it's there. As for moderation,
I assume it will mostly be eliminating duplication, adding some overall
organization, and perhaps suggesting people comment or clean up their
code a bit for public consumption. (Remember, people will be learning
from your code and will pick up style as well as content from you.)
