I'm afraid that this is all very screwed up. It is very hard
if not impossible to embed awt components in an applet and
the other way around.
To make this a little easier I have written a simple
embedding toolkit that has buttons, sliders, etc.

It needs more work because there is still too much flashing.
But that can be fixed. I'm afraid that this is the best we
can do for you in this release.
Eventually you should be able to have several individual
applets that talk to each other in the same document. That,
together with tables will make life a lot easier.
