After having just heard about Java, I have a couple of questions about its
capabilities:

1) The white paper eludes to Java's ability to distribute and access objects
across the network. Is there documentation that expounds on this? Can I call
member functions of objects that exist on other nodes? Could I put Java-based
servers on several nodes and (from a client) cause them to work on different
pieces of the same problem concurrently?

2) Could I write an agent with Java that relocates from node to node, gathering
information?

Thanks,
James L Weaver
