    Yes, there needs to be STRONGLY pushed HCI guidelines FROM SUN, before 
it's obvious there's a need for them.  I'm sure the Java kernel group have 
strong views on this, with their move to Unicode, and the international 
expansion of identifiers.  I don't think these have changed since FORTRAN. 

    Ask them.
