What the hell is Michael Carol,

Moaning for? Java is a VERY GOOD system. The best so far, BY FAR.
(I remember having fucking idiotic arguments withpeople back in the 80's,
whether BASIC or Pascal, was the best language.) The most blindingly
obvious for industrial software engineering. (Perl???? Hah!) The most
capable of Very Large Scale Self-extension. It's got Sun behind it, for
Christ's sake. They're underdogs, like everyone else, to the grossly fat
lumbering lord of the manor, with terrible goitre after dinner,
MicroStuff. A Heathcliffe, for christ's sake.

While you've been smugly farting around in this mailing list, people
outside are thinking very ambitiously. Read alt.2600. You don't need a
mailing list or newsgroup to help you technically, in the slightest.
Who designed ENIAC? How did all those autocoders get written in the '50s?
No Yacc or Web then. Or how about UNIX and C? All you need is three or
four like-minded people in your home town.

Stop pfaffing about, and get you and your friends to write an
OPERATING SYSTEM in JAVA, like the professionals you are, dork. Has it
twigged? Two people (independently!) made calculus with their bare hands.
Four people made OBERON happen. One person made PASCAL.

    As they say in Italy:

Piu lo mandi gi, piu ti tira s!
