I don't know what O'Reilly is planning, but other publishers are most
certainly paying attention to Java. I know that IDG and SunSoft Press
both are currently working on Java books, and Sams has three Java books on
the schedule: "Presenting Java" by John December in September
(http://www.rpi.edu/~decemj/works/java.html), "Teach Yourself Java" by
Laura Lemay in November, and "Java Unleashed" in January -- for which
we're still looking for contributors.
