     Hi all,

I was thinking about the Java/HotJava architecture and looking at
using the FtpClient class. My question is this: I want a user to be
able to execute an Applet (I'm assuming this can only occur on the
user's machine) which will, based on input from the user, ftp files
from various sites. The trick is that I want this information to be
saved on the server not the client. Is this possible? If so, how
onerous a task is it? My other question is what should I do about
forms support within an applet (or how can I get information from a
     user)?

     Thanks,

     Ted
