aaron (Aaron A. Goodisman):
The Ordeal of Smurf Village is not yet complete...
Not quite firmly established in Palo Alto, but working on it.

cheshire (Mary Vogt):
Billy Penguin has come unstuck in time.

dkk (David K Krikorian):
I think I am.

eichin (Mark W. Eichin):
Time stand still...
I'm not looking back but I want to look around me now
Time stand still...
see more of the people and the places that surround me now
Time stand still
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit longer
Experience slips away
Experience slips away
Time stand still...
RUSH (G. Lee, N. Peart) >>Time Stand Still<<

irene (Irene Kim):
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade
But doth suffer a sea change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong.
Hark! Now I hear them - ding-dong bell.

sethf (Seth Finkelstein):
Uncensored xpix needs a new home. Can _you_ spare 15 Meg?
Update: private xpix is now living on borrowed time. So far
I've had only one offer of support. Disappointing.
I wonder if a telethon-like appeal is possible:
"1K will house an icon, 10K provides space for a Macpic,
100K is enough for a full screen dump... Send your pledges of
space now... "
Or perhaps random solicitation is the key. Set up a table
in W20-575 or 4-035, showing some of the better images:
"Aid for space-starved file systems ..."
Maybe I should apply to the MIT Arts Council for a grant to buy
a workstation of my own. If they'll fund "Transparent Horizons"
(excrement of the DeathBird), they'll fund anything.
[The more I think about this idea, the more tempting it sounds.]
[Does anyone have any information regarding such applications?]
