If you do this on a Macintosh (Excel v5.0a on a PowerMac 8100/110) you get
a result of 1.40737488355328 = 1.28, proving that the Macintosh is 6 times
more accurate than Windows machines.
The (non-Microsoft) Macintosh calculator desk accessory does not have
this problem.

mwmcleod (Matthew William McLeod):
Not normally being a very organized person
a lot of people would not expect me to
have a plan. However, since I got sick of
having a computer tell everyone I have no
plan, I decided to write one. Remember,
life is good, and even when life is not so
good it is considerably better than the
alternative. Also, Murphy's Law was not
propounded by Murphy but by another man of
the same name. At this point I'm pretty
much just rambling, but you're still
reading so I'll keep right on going. On
the more serious side I intend to major in
Bio, and eventually do some kind of
research. More importantly, I intend to
stay happy.
