<h3>Die Fledermaus</h3>
One of the Tick and Arthur's two best friends in the superhero
community (the other being Sewer Urchin), Die Fledermaus's appearance
is reminiscent of the Batman of DC comics and movie fame. An apparent
male chauvinist, Die Fledermaus has a habit of disappearing whenever
there is trouble. There are references to a prior relationship between
Die Fledermaus and American Maid.<p>
<h3>Sewer Urchin</h3>
One of the Tick and Arthur's 2 best friends in the superhero community
(the other being Die Fledermaus), Sewer Urchin, as his name suggests,
patrols and makes his home in, the sewers below The City. It is no
wonder then, that his only apparent power is the ability to emit a
nerve numbing odor (The Tick vs. The Tick). When he does come out of
the sewer, it is usually to hang out at the Edward Hopper-esque diner
with Die Fledermaus and the Caped/Crusading Chameleon.<p>
<h3>Big Shot</h3>
One of the most unusual superheroes in The Tick, Big Shot has an
unhealthy attachment to guns. His solution to all problems is to shoot
it. However, after taking the advice of the Tick to "seek professional
help", Big Shot's new solution is to "put it in the happy box".<p>
