From the Yomiyori Shimbun, a Japanese newspaper: Kanebo unveils fibers
said to attract women Kanebo Ltd. has developed fibers that the company says
attract women,thecompany announced Monday.
The fibers are impregnated with sex pheromone, whose smell is said to attract
women to men. Synthesized sex pheromone is wrapped up in microcapsules of
syntheticresin and attached to fibers by means of a special binder. The
microcapsules are five microns in diameter.
If the capsules are broken by friction, the attractive smell wafts inthe
air. Sex pheromone is known to be emitted by males of some insects and mammals
to attract females. In a test on humans, it effectively attracted women, Kanebo
said. Kanebo says one handkerchief will carry 250 million capsules
containing sex pheromone but loses the smell after being washed 10 times.
Kanebo says that a man who uses such a handkerchief should succeed in wooing
his target before that.
Kanebo plans to use the new fibers in handkerchiefs, neckties and
men's underpants. As a first step, it will market cotton textiles impregnated
with the chemical for use in clothing for next year's spring and summer.
After that, it will use the chemical also in synthetic fibers.
The price is expected to be about 50% higher then that of ordinary textiles.

Quiet now
Still of night
Inside fire burning bright
Right moment
Laying down
Oh, still no sound
It's all automatic
No thought
Automatic
Golden hair
Skin glisten
Beating heart but don't listen
Angles sharp
Crash together
Time and consciousness sever
Mind in automatic
Time stop
Automatic
