That's the whole trouble. You can't ever find a place
that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any.
You may *think* there is, but once you get there, when
you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write
"Fuck you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I
think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a
cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say
"Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was
born and what year I died, and then right under that
it'll say "Fuck you." I'm positive, in fact.

			-- J. D. Salinger,
			   "The Catcher in the Rye"

rjbarbal (Richard J. P. Barbalace):

I'm home in Philly, dodging bullets, visiting church, dodging TV,
visiting relatives, dodging questions, visiting the punch bowl.
I'll be back *sometime* before IAP starts. No idea when though.

In case of an emergency, such as extreme boredom, I can be reached at:
	4529 E. Thompson Street
	Philadelphia, PA 19137
	(215) 743-6478

No net connection, no email. Give me a call if you want. If you're
someone I don't like, I'll pretend to be out having a good time and
let you talk to my mom for a few hours. That'll teach you.

		"Pictures of You"

In that lovely white dress, oh your skin was so white
With the moon in your eyes, on that cold winter night
When your lips were so soft, that I thought they would
Melt,
And the sound of your breath and the way that you felt
And I said yes!
And I said yes!
It's just pictures of you with a knife in your hand
With a rose in your teeth lying nude in the sand.
It's just pictures of you, standing high on a cliff
With the wind in your hair, and a smile on your lips
And your eyes were so wild, when you started to laugh
Blending in with the wind, sounded just like a scream.
Why do pictures of you
Come to me when I dream
In darkness?
