It's just that simple.
!!!! NOTICE !!!!
To fill in the field, one must first ask, "What is a plan?" If a person
feels that a plan is a person's hopes for the future, then I must fill
in this field by saying that I plan to study various things here at
MIT. But, if one considers a plan a deeper, more symbolic,
more thoughful device through which a complete being is
expressed, then this field is best filled for everyone by saying
that one hopes to live a complete and fulfilling life. However,
the idea of a 'plan', per se, is irrelevant, as a plan in itself
does not determine the future. This opens deeper discussions,
such as "Is the future predetermined?", "Is there such a
thing as fate?", and the ever-present "What's for dinner?" The first
two of these questions cannot be simply answered, especially in a
'finger' data file, so I will not attempt this futile excursion into the
metaphysical world. As for the third question, which has been asked for
millions of years, there is no answer.
Is this what you expected from the finger command? To answer that
question, you must first consider the question "What is expectation, and
how does it relate to the finger command?" This is also....

I am also doing some programming for New Concepts Software, on the
Mycroft software package. Watch the medias this fall for more
information on it.
Other project include assorted programming tidbits like games, graphics
processing, Artificial Intelligence (Expert systems), TI-85 calculator
emulators, and much more! As soon as I have time to finish them, most of
those projects will be Shareware (with the exception of some games,
which will be released on CD-ROM as normal software).
Need some programming or advice? Ask me.
(I probably won't be able to tell you...but I like getting mail.)
Please note that the Complete v2.0 Geek Code key appears at the end of
this document (After the picture).

DOOMEd-3D, (see plug below)
DOOMEd-3d Project description:
Coming, this summer, to a computer near you...
You've seen DEU...
You've seen DOOM-CAD...
You've seen DoomEd(Windows)...
Soon...you'll see the next generation in DOOM editors, DOOMEd-3D!
(Soon? How soon? As soon as finals are over and I have some time to
finish this thing up!)
Why, you may ask, is this editor better than all other editors?
You asked for it:
* Dual editing Modes.
1) Like the rest. Overhead view.
2) Interactive 3-D polygon graphics editor!
* Interactive 3-D polygon what?
+ Using the same BSP tree process that id uses in DOOM, DOOMEd-3D
will draw the level AS YOU WILL FINALLY SEE IT! (Note that this
is done with polygon graphics to save time and my sanity, and
therefore there is no texture mapping. Light levels? If I have
time.)
+ Left-clicking on a surface in the 3-D view will pop open a box
allowing you to edit that object's attributes.
+ Right-clicking will allow you to edit that SECTORs attributes.
+ Objects and monsters will appear as stationary images.
+ In other words...the ULTIMATE editting experience.
* As-complete-as-possible NODES (SSEG, etc.) builder.
* Fully functional REJECT builder (Note: may not be until version
2.0)
* Level diagnostics.
* Texture stitching, pre-fab structures, and other goodies. (Note:
some of these may not be present in version 1.0)
* Helpful hints and warnings. (i.e. WARNING! Making this wall
two-sided may not produce the effect you desire! Click here to
view help on this subject. Click here if you do not wish to see this
message again.)
* Fully integrated help for the beginner to the professional DOOM
artist.
* And much more! (Please send any features you'd like to see to me.)
* Cost: DOOMEd-3D will be Shareware. It will not be Crippleware.
Registration costs will probably be about $20.
* Source: Probably not. We'll see what sort of response I get.
* Release date: Two weeks. (Just kidding!) It'll be released when
it's ready. No sooner. Watch for beta releases in July. No
guarantees.
* Finally, NO, THIS IS NOT VAPORWARE. THIS IS AN ACTUAL PROGRAM.
IF YOU DOUBT ME, FINE. BUT DON'T WRITE ME SAYING, "I don't believe
you." BECAUSE I will be doing everything humanly possible after
finals to make this a reality.
Encouraging comments, however, are welcome. Just don't ask me for a
release date.
That is all. You may discuss.
Sincerely,
Jered Floyd
Programmer, DOOMEd-3D
DOOMEd-3D has no affiliation with DOOMED (Windows) except for the fact
that I know the guy who wrote it and might bug him with a question about
nodes once or twice. There is no shared code between the programs. (In
fact, they are in completely different languages.)
DOOMEd-3D is written from the ground up. NO spaghetti code revisions.
Easy, modular, fast code. I hope.
The author reserves the right to bite off more than he can chew, but
hopefully hasn't.
Feel free to write.

rjbarbal (Richard J. Barbalace):
Psalm 69
Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep
waters, where the floods overflow me.
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I
wait for my God.
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine
head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty:
then I restored that which I took not away.
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from
thee.
Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for
my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of
Israel.
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my
face.
I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my
mother's children.
For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches
of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my
reproach.
I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song
of the drunkards.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable
time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy
salvation.
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered
from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me
up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me
according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me
speedily.
Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine
enemies.
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine
adversaries are all before thee.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I
looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I
found none.
They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me
vinegar to drink.
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should
have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins
continually to shake.
Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger
take hold of them.
Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the
grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy
righteousness.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be
written with the righteous.
But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on
high.
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with
thanksgiving.
This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that
hath horns and hoofs.
The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live
that seek God.
For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that
moveth therein.
For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that
they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love
his name shall dwell therein.

<h2>My plan:</h2>
I shall get a 5.0 my senior year.
<p>
<h2>Long term plan:</h2>
To become someone people can talk to. To become someone with strength
of character. To become someone who doesn't whine. To become someone
who knows when it's time to be serious. <p>
All of this without being someone other than me.
Well, it's time to write down some thoughts...<p>
I need to be buckling down this semester. To get a decent job on
getting out of here, I'd like to try for a 5.0 this last year and be
able to say "well, my GPA is mumble mumble, but I got a 5.0 my senior
year." That could actually <em>work</em>, so I'm putting my all into
it this term. Not that it's gonna be easy. I'm taking .111 and
18.100B... I'm afraid this is going to be a rough ride this semester.<p>
In order to get help (and help others) with making it to classes,
awakening for classes, and doing toolish things, abbe and I have
restarted TDE (Too Damn Early) in an attempt to get people to unite in
unlameness. There'll be wakeup calls and possibly semi-social tool
sessions and that kind of thing. Hopefully this will get people
helping me buckle down as I help them do the same. <p>
What else is happening with me? Let's see... Classes, TDE, ... Work.
At work, I've been punting pretty much for the last week or two. When
I get back to doing things, my top priority currently is going to be
the <a

Guide to Kerberos V4 for DOS, Windows, and OS/2</a>. Directions on
building the libraries from dosdev's source distribution, as well as
programming documentation (with DOS-specific notes clearly marked)
will hopefully be worked into the documentation here. As far as I
know there's currently no decent documenation on writing applications
for Kerberos V4 out there, and this could be a first. :)

sorokin (Jessie Stickgold-Sarah):
Here is what she loves deeply
her work she drives into with the sun
polishing wet roads to chrome,
her son who waits, feigning sleep
in his crib until he can caress her face,
her golden-haired, blue-eyed, hell-bent,
anti-authoritarian daughter who says
shit at the right time,
her husband who has left her
here is what she loves, but once removed
her men with tongues, who put their mouths on hers,
who make her laugh deeply in the night, who take her
to bed during sesame street, who take her children
to school, or haven't met her children, or never
met a child at all, her men who juggle, who paint
day after day landscapes that have never left the mind,
who walk her on winter beaches, and fly her into
the chambers of coral reefs.
here is what she likes with an embarrassing relish
the luminescent stars and comets she's stuck on her
ceiling, the thought of toads in her husband's lover's
bed, her bell bird clanging a pottery sea bell sound,
her shells, colored powders, beach stones, sheep bones,
ropes of feathers, long Indian skirts, filmy violet scarves,
snow over the lakes to ski on, her children's bare bodies,
summer with a wind in the moors, the stitching of night
with the loon's pointed sound.
here is what she needs and keeps her
a net of women so strong that when she falls
from the tightrope she walks day after day
sometimes with easy precision, sometimes
with wire cutting her feet into bands,
sometimes with a fatigue so great
her dreams have to hold her, that when she falls,
her women friends tighten their almost
invisible web, and she bounces and breathes,
bounces and weaves every fiber of their strength
into her own body, bounces and is free in a way
that will let her bounce against them again,
she bounces and sours, a dark bird
against the stadium lights, swoops to the crowd
and is off, a speck in the cranberry dawn.

starbuck (Hoang H Tran):
It's September 23, 1994. I don't really have any plans right now. Actually,
I was going to play tennis this afternoon, but the weather does not look
like it is going to get any better any time soon. Too bad.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
therese (Therese):
Bits and pieces, bits and pieces.
People.
People important to you, people unimportant to you cross your
life. Touch it with love and carelessness and move on.
There are people who leave you and you breathe a sigh of relief
and wonder why you ever came into contact with them.
There are people who leave you and you breathe a sigh of remorse
and wonder why they had to go away and leave such a gaping hole.
Children leave parents; friends leave friends, acquaintances
grow apart.
Enemies hate and move on.
Friends love and move on.
You think of the many who have moved into your hazy memory.
You look on those present and wonder.
I believe in God's master plan in life. He moves people in and
out of each other's lives, and each leaves his mark on the
other. You find you are made up of bits and pieces of all who
ever touched your life, and you are more because of it, and you
would be less if they had not touched you.
Pray to God that you accept the bits and pieces, in humility and
wonder, and never question and never regret.
Bits and pieces, bits and pieces.
