Abbe, I'm trying the same thing (though Master's in 6, not 2). You want to
get a generic petition form (I got mine from the registrar's office, but
I think you could pick up the same form at the UASO). You need to fill
out what classes will count towards the second degree (plan carefully, often
which classes you choose can affect how many extra credits you have to take),
and get this form signed by your course 2 and your course 6 advisors.
Admission to double majoring is not guarenteed.
Anyways... this is how I understand the process.... I'm right now in the
"wait until tuesday to talk to course 2 to get an advisor" stage.
