alindsay (Adam Taro Lindsay):

That is the way it is because it is that way
It is that way in that it is the way it is
In the way that it is that way that is the way it is
In the way that that is the way that is the way it is that is it is the way
Or, that it is that way is the way it is
The way it is that is the way it is
In that it is the way that it is is because it is that way
Or that it is the way that it is is the way that it is that
That is the way that it is the way that it is is the way that it is that way

The pun o' the day is:

"The maid has the night off," said Tom helplessly.

ckclark (Calvin Clark):

And yet, and yet . . . denying temporal succession, denying the self,
denying the astronomical universe, are apparant desperations and secret
consolations. Our destiny (as contrasted with the hell of Swedenborg
and the hell of Tibetan mythology) is not frightful by being unreal; it
is frightful because it is irreversible and iron-clad. Time is the
substance I am made of. Time is a river which sweeps me along, but I am
the river; it is a tiger which destroys me, but I am the tiger; it is a
fire which consumes me, but I am the fire. The world, unfortunately, is
real; I, unfortunately, am Borges.

-Jorge Luis Borges, ``A New Refutation of Time'' (the second draft)

I should be there at *9am*. Ick. Maybe I should find a morning
	person to sleep with :-)

music:
finally replaced most of the cd's I lost with new (but different) ones

recent wins:
found a local apartment! as long as they get their mortgage and move
		out...
churning through my todo list at a prodigous rate. Almost as fast
as I'm adding things to it...

"Welcome." - Anonymous.

THIS IS MY PLAN. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S PLAN, YOU HAVE
FINGERED THE WRONG PERSON.

{ From system:  This user's .plan file is too damn long. }

1) I am programming for the world famous Dimensional Insight Inc. conveniently
located in Central Square. I'm doing Macintosh programming. It's cool.

2) I found out my phone number at work, but unfortunately, I only have
it written down at work, so I still cant post it.

3) I've been trying to write a video game for the past few years.
Please help me pre-alpha test it. Just send me a zephyr saying,
"Why yes, I'd _love_ to play a game of Risk with you."

4) Play Patrol! Everyone should play Patrol!

5) Send me email. I dont get enough email.

6) Future projects: Writing A Clu Compiler In My Spare Time (WACCIMST),
Mercury Vapor (HgV), writing a Free Afs Client For Linux (FACFL).
Please talk to me if you want to be involved in any of my wonderful
   projects. (Really.)

7) Other Things To Do (tm): buy a bicycle, find a softball team to
play on, make the world a better place, become an MIT student, leap
tall buildings in a single bound, get a working MH for Linux.

Have a nice day.
-Thal.
