amgreene (Andrew Marc Greene):

[In keeping with tradition, for the sixth consecutive year...]

Spring is sprung,
The grass is ris.
I wonder where
The birdies is.

nosaj (Jason M Sachs):

...being afraid to ride my bike because i was going to fall over, so i
had to ask my dad to help, and he'd run along with me, holding on to
the back of the bike seat so the bike would stay upright, and while i
was pedaling, i'd try to come up with words that rhymed, partially
because we just learned what a limerick was in Mrs. Friedman's
class and we had to make one up ourselves, but mainly just to get
my mind off the possibility that i would fall over and my entire
right side would be scraped off by those vicious little bits of gravel
they stick in the street...

...and then i'd hear my dad call to me and ask how i was doing, and
i'd realize that he wasn't holding onto the bike any more, and it was
just me, pedaling and pedaling back towards our house, hoping to get
there before the magic wore off....

things like that just don't happen to me any more. sigh. :/

therese (Therese):

        A waking world of innocence
So grave those first born cries
When life beings with needles and pins
It ends with swords and knives
... God save those born to die

                          -- Tears for Fears
                             The Seeds of Love
