eichin (Mark W. Eichin):
Things I'm doing:
I've got uucp running at home (to work, not to MIT.) A new email
address, coming soon...
It's also time to get distracted with Ham Radio again... after
all, I have to hook at least one radio to the computer :-)
Trying to figure out why Central_America *usually* but not always
misses changes to my plan file. Maybe now that it runs every other day, it
is still only checking the last 24 hours?
Long term:
Putting my life back together. This is turning out to be fun, actually.
Increase the bounty on my head ;-)
Stamp out stupid platitudes in our life time. Start with .plan files.
Lyrics:
"Lose your dreams and you
may lose your mind...
Ain't life unkind?"

Silliness:
A cow is a device for turning grass into food.
One of the more important reasons to work hard and make money is to *eat well*.
Another one is to *have neat toys*.

nosaj (Jason M Sachs):
The stationmaster, swathed in a towel, was still lying on the sofa. He
was gasping and groaning. But he groaned even harder when Panfilich
entered the room.
Panfilich said, "I greatly regret, honored sir, that my bees stung you.
But it is your own fault. You can't be so indifferent about things,
whether they are great or small. Bees will not stand for that. They'll
sting people for that without further ado."
The stationmaster groaned even harder, and Panfilich continued. "Bees
absolutely cannot tolerate bureaucracy or indifference to their fate.
Why, you treated them the way you probably treate people---and there's
your reward."

No Good Vibes
In London, a couple were denied the right to adopt a baby because
their marriage "exuded excessive harmony" and would expose a child to
insufficient "negative experiences."
