"But how can you know what you want
till you get what you want and you
see that you like it?"
     "Do I know?
All I know is I've never wished
      For what I've never wanted."
Cinderella and the Baker's Wife from "Into the Woods"

"I have a tale to tell; Sometimes it gets
So hard to hide it well.
I was not ready for the fall. Too blind to
See the writing on the wall.

A man can tell a thousand lies; I've learned my lesson well
Hope I live to tell the secret I have learned, till then
It will burn inside of me...

If I ran away, I'd never have the strength
To go very far.
How would they hear the beating of my heart?"

The WIZ-bike was holding up quite well. Originally a Trek OPEN:chD
18-speed racer, I had heavily modified it into an effects 18_sp
geek's dream-machine: STAR TREK-like carriers, a gooseneck STARWARS
headlamp, tri-bladed propellor, extended mirror, horns, toy thx.1138

But all of the gadgets were simply film-effects geegaws and
gingerbread. Now was the time for "practical effects". ARMING:

I prepared the bike by rigging 4" U-coils over both wheels 4~Usiloc
- a primary coil with 288 hand-windings of #20 wire in front, Silo288
and two secondary coils with 576 windings of #28 wire in Silo576
back. Each wheel had 12 "Mystery Magnets" from Pasadena's >#20-28
B&B Surplus, epoxied to the wheel rim at equal spaces. BBS_+?

The bike's sound & light gadgets were disengaged (too dim in syntax
the daytime, and we were shooting silent anyway), and I error
rerouted the bike-lamp generators through the coils. The Silo:

My esteamed business partner found me, used my work to /IR$

Finishing by the 1984 Olympics had become a memory. In 984_O

A man in Morgantown, West Virginia, admitted that he had taken almost
1,900 college texts worth more than $60,000 from eight area libraries.
He said that the books contained information that could be used to
design nuclear weapons, and he wanted to keep them from falling into
the wrong hands.

Favorite Quote: And remember, wherever you go, there you are.

I believe in the American dream, the red-white-and-blue, non-whitening
fabric softner, and doses of concentrated Blues' Brothers at times of
crises. I believe in Mozart, long walks leading nowhere and everywhere,
and that Harvard was long ago taken over by aliens from planet 10 of the
eighth dimension. I believe in peace, and old blue jeans, Boston baked
beans and New England spring. I believe in animal attraction and love
at first sight. I believe in lasting friendships and Buddhist philosophy,
God, heaven, and the elusive silver lining. I belive in my friends and
my family, and I believe in myself.
