Monday, 4 May 1992: FOUR MORE SUNRISES!! (of Junior Lab)
"I was in no mood to trifle,
I took down my trusty rifle
And went out to stalk my prey-- what a haul I made that day!
I went and shot the maximum the game laws would allow,
Two game wardens, seven hunters, and a cow....
The law was very firm, it
Took away my permit,
The worst punishment I ever endured.
It turned out there was a reason,
Cows were out of season,
And one of the hunters wasn't insured...."

The silicon chip inside her head gets switched to overload.
And nobody's gonna go to school today,
She's gonna make them stay at home.
And Daddy doesn't understand it,
He always said she was good as gold.
And he can see no reasons, 'cause there are no reasons.
What reason do you need to be shown?
Tell me why.
I don't like Mondays.
Tell me why.
I don't like Mondays.
Tell me why.
I don't like Mondays.
I'm gonna shoot the whole day down.
The telex machine is kept so clean
And it types to a waiting world.
And daddy feels so shocked,
Mommy's world is rocked,
And their thoughts turn to their own little girl.
Sweet 16 ain't that peachy keen,
Now it ain't so neat to admit defeat.
They can see no reasons cause there are no reasons.
What reasons do you need?
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays.

I don't like Mondays.
I'm gonna shoot the whole day down down down shoot it all down.
And all the playing's stopped in the playground now.
She wants to play with her toys awhile.
And school's out early
And soon we'll be learning that the leason today is
How to die
And the bullhorn crackles,
The captain tackles
With the problems and the hows and whys.
And he can see no reasons, cause there are no reasons.
What reason do you need to die?
And the silicon chip inside her head gets switched to overload.
And nobody's gonna go to school today,

srz (Stan Zanarotti):
THE ANARCHIST PRIMER
by Jamie MacDonald
See Mikhail.
Mikhail is an anarchist.
What is an anarchist?
An anarchist is someone who believes in freedom and justice for
the individual.
He believes that men should be able to choose for themselves.
He knows that men should not be forced to do anthing that they
don't want to do.
Mikhail believes all these things.
Mikhail is a good man.
You believe all these things too, don't you?
See Mikhail.
See Mikhail run.
Run, Mikhail, run.
Why is Mikhail running?
Mikhail is running because the fascist suppressors of freedom
and human dignity are trying to lock him in chains.
They want to make him a slave of the State and capitalism.
Why are the fascists trying to rob Mikhail of his liberty?
The fascists are trying to rob Mikhail of his liberty because they
are evil people motivated only by greed and their craving for
power.
See the fascists.
See the fascists oppress the individual.
Oppress, fascists, oppress.
Why do fascists do such evil things?
Fascists do such evil things because they believe in a vile and
evil institution known as the State.
See the State?
Look for the State.
Look, look, look.
You can't see the State.
Why can't you see the State?
You can't see the State because the State exists only on paper
and in the minds of demented little fascists.
If the State exists only on paper and in the minds of demented
little fascists, how can it force individuals to do things?
The State can force individuals to do things because there are a
lot of demented little fascists.
These demented little fascists have guns.
They use their guns to enforce their threats.
Laws are evil.
Laws make people do things even if their conscience tells them
these things are evil.
Laws can keep people from doing things that are good.
So why do the fascists make laws?
The fascists make laws to force the individual to conform to the
fascists' commands on his conduct.
What is the State?
Mikhail says, "The State is the sum of all the negations of the
individual liberty of all its members."
The State is made up of the government and its disgusting minions
who obey whenever the government gives a command.
Why do these disgusting minions obey whenever the government gives
a command?
The disgusting minions obey whenever the government gives a command
because they are human robots with no minds of their own.
The purpose of the State is to force men to abide by its concept
of right and wrong.
This is an evil thing to do because it denies the rights of the
individual.
The fascists who run the State don't care about individual rights.
They care about forcing the individual to conform.
Is there anything the fascists who run the State care about besides
forcing the individual to conform?
Yes, the fascists who run the State also care about maintaining their
power over the individual.
They will lie, cheat, steal, and murder to hold on the their power.
See the fascists lie, cheat, steal, and murder.
Lie, fascists, lie.
Cheat, fascists, cheat.
Steal, fascists, steal.
Murder, fascists, murder.
The fascists lie, cheat, steal, and murder in the name of patriotism.
They say this justifies their evil deeds.
Sometimes they fool a lot of people this way.
That only makes them more evil.
See Mikhail.
See Mikhail fight.
Fight, Mikhail, fight.
Who is Mikhail fighting?
Mikhail is fighting fascists, of course!
Why is Mikhail fighting?
Mikhail is fighting because he is a good man.
He is fighting for the freedom of men everywhere.
Mikhail says, "Our first work must be the total annihilation of
everything as it now exists."
This means that, in order to be free, we must destroy all fascist
institutions like government and private property.
That is what Mikhail is trying to do.
Isn't Mikhail a good man?
See the enraged masses.
See the enraged masses destroy.
Destroy, masses, destroy.
The masses know that Mikhail says, "The urge to destroy is a creative
urge."
The masses know Mikhail is a good man.
The masses know that they are being very creative.
The masses are destroying the institutions that have enslaved them.
They are destroying the State.
They are destroying the Church.
They are destroying the schools that teach fascist propaganda.
Why are the masses being so creative?
The masses are being so creative because they have been enslaved
by the fascists for too long.
Have you been enslaved by the fascists for too long?
You and your friends can be creative enraged masses, too.
See the fascist.
See the fascist burn.
Burn, fascist, burn.
No, the fascist is not being creative.
The masses are being creative with the fascist.
The fascist ordered the masses to stop burning him.
He died a fascist.

therese (Therese):
Beethoven's gone but his music lives on
and Mozart don't go shopping no more.
You'll never meet Liszt or Brahms again
and Elgar doesn't answer the door.
Schubert and Chopin used to chuckle and
love whiles composing their long symphony.
But one hundred and fifty years later
there's very little of them left to see.
The decomposing composers.
There's nothing much anyone can do.
You can still hear Beethoven
but Beethoven cannot hear you.
H{ndel and Haydn and Rachmaninov
enjoyed a nice drink with their meal.
But nowadays no one will serve them
and their grave it is left to conceal.
Verdi and Wagner delighted the crowds
with their highly original sound.
The pianos like Pleyel does still working
but thereabout six feet under ground.
The decomposing composers.
There's less of them every year.
You can say what you like to Debussy
but there's not much of him left to hear.
Claude Achille Debussy. Died 1918.
Christoph Willibald Gluck. Died 1787.
Carl Maria von Weber. Not at all well 1825. Died 1826.
Giacomo Meyerbeer. Still alive 1863. Not still alive 1864.
Modest Musorgski. 1880 going to parties. No fun any more 1881.

Given what only could be called the harbinger of the revolution
happening in El Lay, I did something silly and called Mike to see if he was
okay, leaving a message on his machine ("Please leave a message at the sound
of the electronic yodel."). To my delight, he returned my call that evening.
He's fine; the violence hasn't hit his neighborhood. Says he, "You
can tell what time it is by counting the shots and subtracting two."
