NAME
untouch - revert date last modified of a file
SYNOPSIS
untouch file ...
DESCRIPTION
Untouch attempts to reset the modified date of each file. If the
file exists, this is done by establishing an FTL TCP/IP connection,
mounting the filesystem, and executing the touch(1) program.
Heuristics are used to select the previous timestamp of the file.
If this is the first incarnation of the file, untouch is the
equivalent of rm(1).
BUGS
If the file does not exist, the program has will have hung due
to the error messages having been sent further back in time and
not will have been being received.

9:51 p.m. Sunday, 23 November, 1986
I took another walk to Auburn Cemetery this afternoon. No
pressing need; I just wanted to.
It was amazing this morning how things got cleaned up from Alumni
Thanksgiving. I thought all the people who set up would disappear
when it came time to clean up.
We beat PKT in I.M. basketball 37-14. It was fun and good
sportsmanship all around.

It looks now as if I will finish everything by end of term, that
is, within the next wo weeks.
10:01 p.m. Sunday, 30 November, 1986
Theoretical math looks pretty good to me as a major. It will mean
going to grad school, probably eventually teaching math.
10:15 p.m. Tuesday, 2 December, 1986
We rowed with the novice women this morning. It was fun.
For my 8.012 oral exam tomorrow [1991 - this was ESG], I have to
give a lecture summarizing the course. I practiced on pikans this
evening. I got heckled a lot, but I think I helped Bob understand the
relationship between linear and angular energy. I liked the look on
his face. Maybe I would enjoy teaching.
